patchtrack news
What changed since you last looked: GitHub’s notifications for email.
Every family is compared with a snapshot of what news showed last
time. It reports:
new series, and new versions of existing ones;
state changes, e.g. “reviewed → applied” or “in-next → merged”;
each new reply, with what it did: its tag, its “Applied …” line, or the first line of an inline comment.
Then it takes a new snapshot, so the same change is shown once;
--peek leaves the snapshot alone. The first run only records a
baseline.
--since WHEN compares with the mail as it stood at that time
instead of with your last look, and implies --peek. Only mail
carries its own dates, so tree movements (queued, in-next, merged)
appear through the ordinary news.
