patchtrack read

Read a series’ conversation in the terminal.

Messages come in reply order, indented by depth, through $PAGER. The cover letter is shown up to b4’s footer. Each patch shows its message, with its diff summarised unless --diffs is given. In replies, long quotes collapse to the few lines each comment answers, and signatures are cut.

The series is named by part of its title or root message-id. Without --all, the latest version of each matching family is shown.

usage: patchtrack read [-h] [-a AUTHOR] [-l LIST] [--all] [--diffs]
                       [--color {auto,always,never}]
